Why Feng Shui works:
Feng Shui creates balance and harmony in an environment by applying the unifying principles of harmonizing opposites, Yin and Yang, along with the Five Elements including Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water. The properties of Yin and Yang, the universal counterparts of feminine and masculine, are inherent in everything around you. They are associated with colors, shapes, materials, textures, everything in the built and natural environments. For example, areas for rest and relaxation want to be more Yin, with softer materials and dimmed lighting.
